Leisure Lodge Beach Resort Mombasa
The Leisure Lodge Beach Resort Mombasa is situated on 200 acres of property. The hotel itself is on 30 acres of lush tropical gardens with one of the largest beach frontages on the Kenya coast. Every guest can have a beach bed by the Indian Ocean.
Rooms
The Leisure Lodge Beach & Golf Resort has in total 253 spacious rooms and suites. The rooms are equipped with: air conditioners, telephone, SAT-TV, complimentary safe and hair dryer. Apart from the standard rooms all other categories have tea/coffee making facilities and minibar. Some rooms are also especially designed to cater for physically handicapped guests. More information can be supplied regarding these rooms on request. The Oasis Junior Suites have been designed so that every 3 suites will share their own private swimming pool.
Bars and restaurants
Leisure Lodge Beach & Golf Resort offers a variety of restaurants to choose from. Our trained chefs prepare for a variety of cuisines and can always tailor make a menu in the event that you have special dietary requirements. Breakfast buffet with a vast choice of breads, fruits, juices English and continental cuisine at the Diani Restaurant, where you can also find seasonal and regional dishes. During the day there is the Coral Cove Restaurant situated on the beach, which offers light dishes and snacks. Besides these two main restaurants, during your stay we like to vary our buffets and serving areas in order to keep within a holiday theme. The Bustani Gardens and the Beach itself, both are ideal venues to have romantic evenings with bands and entertainment.
Diani Restaurant
Start your day at our Diani Restaurant, where we offer a varied and tasteful breakfast buffet. The restaurant is situated on top of a cliff with magnificent views of the Indian Ocean and cooled by the fresh breezes. The Diani Restaurant also offers different theme nights so that you can experience different types of cuisines and also introducing you to what Kenya has to offer from its larder Nyama Choma, Ugali, Kuku kupaka and many more local tastes.
Coral Cove Restaurant & Bar
The Coral Cove Restaurant offers a varied selection of hot and cold snacks during the day freshly prepared toasted sandwiches, Hamburgers, Pizza, Seafood and fresh salads finishing this all off with Ice cream. The snack bar is situated right on the beach and also perfect for your sundowners and watch the moon rising in the east. You can very easily see the stars at night time here.
Vilindi Restaurant & Bar
The Vilindi Restaurant is at the golf course. An ideal place to have drinks after a round of gold and there is no better place to be when viewing the sunset. Enjoy the beautiful view of the golf course in a sports atmosphere and regain energy for your next round of golf. The Vilindi Bar promises relaxation because of its quiet location. Our Leisure Lodge Club House Team are only too keen to look after you.
Bahari Bar & Terrace
Enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail at our Bahari Bar as well after dinner drinks to wind up your evening. It is a great place up with your friends, colleagues or your family and recall your experiences of the day. As the bar and terrace is also situated on a cliff the views of the ocean are stunning.
Mnazi Bar
You got a weakness for the tides, as well as for a good drink? In fact the Mnazi Bar is the perfect place for you! Experience the majestic ocean in its glorious beauty and enjoy the spectacle of the breaking waves during a drink on the Diani Beach.
Water Sports
Diani Beach has always been famous for being able to showcase what is on and under the water. Hamadi Ali Mwabudu has been looking after the water sports for Leisure Lodge Beach & Golf Club for over 28 years. He speaks English, German and Italian fluently and also speaks enough French to converse. On site you can Kite & Windsurf and charges are on an hourly / daily basis. He can also organise glass bottom boat with snorkelling. Scuba Diving can also be arranged for beginners as well as certified divers, we use a PADI certified diving school nearby the hotel. The deep sea fishing in Diana is also an excitement you cannot miss out on you may even catch a sailfish or marlin when in season. We can also organise canoeing & kayaking just ask for Hamadi of the Water sports and he will only be too happy to assist.
Kids Zone
The Jambo Kids Club is the perfect combination of fun and adventure for our small guests, aged 4 to 12. We make sure that the children also have daily entertainment program. Our friendly staff members will entertain your children with different kinds of beach games and sport activities. Furthermore your children will experience the African culture and animals, we pride ourselves in making sure that your children also have a great time under proper supervision.
