North coast beach hotel
North coast beach hotel is located about 27km north of Mombasa along the Mombasa-Malindi highway on Kikambala beach area, Kilifi county. Set in the serene Kikambala beach, north coast beach Hotel has a perfect setting for conferencing and business.
History
The
hotel was previously operating as Le Soleil beach club and changed ownership in the Month of March 2009. It is wholly owned and managed by Kenyatta university and aims at becoming a centre of excellence in the provision of up-market hospitality services and facilities. The new ownership has invested handsomely in major refurbishments and renovations which has transformed the face and ambiance of the Hotel and in the process created a homely environment for holiday makers and high profile workshops and seminars. A team of highly experienced management team and support staff has been recruited to ensure the Hotel offers the level of service in line with the owners’ vision of creating a center of excellence in the provision of high and consistent level of hospitality services in the region.

Conference rooms
The hotel has 5 conference rooms namely Mwangaza, Majadiliano, Baharini, Business Center and Executive Boardroom. All the conference rooms are air-conditioned and commands a very good sea view. They are well furnished/equipped and spacious enough for breakaway groups. This makes them ideal for workshops. The hall capacity below observes social distancing for our guests with only 50% occupancy allowance as recommended by the Covid 19 guidelines for hospitality facilities.
Starehe lounge
The newly refurbished Starehe Lounge is a stone throw from the beach that offers a relaxing atmosphere for enjoying popular program on the large screen TV set. Tea and snacks are served in the afternoon. The Starehe lounge hosts the unisex beauty & hair salon to ensure that your beauty needs are handled in-house.
Recreation facilities
To ensure that all work and no play slogan does not catch up with you, we have several indoor games, beach volleyball/Football, Water Sports and other guided animation activities such as beach & reef walks & team building programs. Our large and modular Swimming Pool comes with a free swimming coaching. Water sports in both the swimming pool and the ocean. The hotel has a fitness centre that hosts a gym, sauna and massage for the customer who seeks fitness and muscle tonic in the ambience of caring staff. The hotel offers daily evening entertainment in the form of cultural dances, acrobatics, comedy, discos, keyboard players and live bands
Restaurants and bars
There are 3 restaurants and 2 bar facilities available for customers. In addition, the Taita lawns, Pokomo lawns, beach lawns and the Burudani square offer additional space for theme nights & candle lit dinners. The Kisiwani restaurant is a unique island feature surrounded by 30 metres free flow fresh water pool curved as the Map of Kenya, while at our Beach Bar, the white sandy beaches and the white water reef gives dining at the Hotel a new meaning. Enjoy mouth-watering coffees, coffee tails and ice creams at our beach-facing coffee shop.
