Ol Tukai Lodge Amboseli
Ol Tukai Lodge is one of the best spots in the world to watch elephant with the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Dining area
Lunch is served out on the veranda and on most occasions elephants, zebra and buffalo can be spotted metres away from the fence. The restaurant serves al a carte menus as well as set buffets. Theme nights are held throughout the week and include barbecues and Swahili fish menus. In addition the kitchen has an in house vegetarian and Indian cuisine chef. For any special needs please speak to the chef, who will be more than happy to cater for your particular taste.
Elephant Bar
This is situated between the lounge and dining room. This open-air bar serves a wide selection of beers, cocktails, liqueurs and fresh fruit juices. Above the bar a roof level deck offers a splendid panorama of the marshlands and Kilimanjaro.
Swimming Pool
The crystal clear waters of the swimming pool are shaded by the occasional acacia tree. The pool deck has sun beds for relaxation and soaking up the afternoon African sunshine before the evening game drive.
Game drives
Special game vehicles can be booked at the Nairobi Office or directly at the lodge. Our well versed driver will ensure that it is one of the most memorable one hour drives of your life! Refreshments are served in the vehicle.
Maasai dancing
On alternate evenings a troupe of Maasai Morans entertains guests with traditional songs and dances. This normally takes place after evening dinner at about 9.15pm.
Lectures
Lectures are hosted regularly by researchers from Elephant Research Centre situated within the property. Our Maasai culturalist will also conduct lectures on the Maasai community. Please watch out for events on the guest notice board.

Sundowner cocktail
At the centre of Amboseli National Park, is `Noomitio`, a table topped hill popularly known as Observation Hill. It is an ideal spot to kick back, relax and watch the sun go down after a fulfilling afternoon game drive. A sufficient supply of hot and cold canapes accompanied by refreshing Ol Tukai signature cocktails from our well-stocked bar will keep you engaged as you watch the wildlife settle for the night. The experience is simply breathtaking!
Bush dinner
Under a starry night of Amboseli National Park, experience a magical outdoor dinner. A lantern-lit walkway leads guests to a secluded setup in the middle of a small forest of mature indigenous tortilis trees. Indulge your taste buds in a variety of meats prepared as you wait. After a hearty meal, the Maasai morans will be entertaining you. They perform their battle songs and dances around a bonfire.
