Kibo Villa Amboseli
Kibo Villa is in 5 acres of gardens, lawns and a little forest of tortilis acacia trees. Its atmosphere combines comfort with the ethereal bush appeal of its rugged surroundings. Built in natural stone and elegant gum pole structures, Kibo Villa has three large master ensuite bedrooms, a lounge, a fully facilitated kitchen, a barbecue area, and a dining area that stretches onto a large veranda. There is high speed wifi connectivity and cable TV. A personal chef and buttler are at hand at all times to cater for any special requirements.
Accommodation
Built in natural stone and elegant gum pole structures, the villa has three large master ensuite bedrooms, a lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a barbecue area, and a dining area that opens up to a large veranda. The master bedroom occupies the top floor, which opens onto a terrace that overlooks Mt. Kilimanjaro. The spacious villa is designed to accommodate up to 6 adults, extra beds can be added for children.
Barbecue
Under a starry night of Amboseli national park, experience a magical outdoor dinner. A lantern-lit walkway leads guests to a secluded setup in the middle of a small forest of mature indigenous tortillas trees. Indulge your taste buds in a variety of meats prepared as you wait. After a hearty meal, you will be entertained by the resident Maasai morans as they perform their battle songs and dances around a bonfire.
Game drives
The first game drive takes place from 0600 to 0830 hours. The second game drive takes place from 1600 to 1800 hours EAT. A warden or officer on duty together with an experienced guide accompanies the guests. Guests must sign indemnity forms. Guests must also have approved insurance cover.
Bird walk
Kibo Villa is privileged to harbour some of the stunning birdlife found in the Amboseli National Park – 400 species to be exact! Let our resident Ornithologist accompany you on a short bird walk that starts at the entrance of the hotel and rambles under the canopy of acacia trees around the lodge.
