Mara Eden Safari Camp
Mara Eden safari camp is a small boutique camp on the banks of the great Mara river that offers you an untamed wilderness experience. Hidden deep in the Maasai Mara game reserve, along the great Mara river, lies a magical, untouched and untamed valley with crocodiles basking on the banks of the river and hippos fighting for dominance against a backdrop of absolute wilderness. For centuries the great wildebeest migration has thundered through this hidden valley and crossed the Mara river. Nestled in the midst of this valley is our little boutique tented camp, sit out on the verandah and watch the magic of the African wilderness unfold before you. We invite you to be a part of this untamed bit of Africa.
Tents
Our tents are placed along the banks of the mara river, with a seating area at the front for relaxed game and bird viewing. All the tents have hot and cold running water, a flush toilet, 24 hour solar lighting and tasteful décor.
Restaurant
The dining tent is centrally placed, having guest tents on either side. It has a dining area that seats 30 guests and a lounge area with a fully stocked bar. From our adjoining kitchen we serve a full English breakfast, a 3 course lunch and a 4 course dinner. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day.
Game drives
With our sturdy 4×4 vehicles, experienced guides and drivers, we take you on an adventure of a lifetime, get up close to Africa’s’ big 5 and along the way see a myriad of birds and small mammals from the elusive leopard to the even more elusive and shy civet cat, allow nature to unfold in front of you with predators on the prowl and prey on the run.
Bush lunch and dinner
Served in the midst of the wilderness, enjoy a scrumptious meal while watching the birds and the Vervet monkeys frolicking around at the lunch table or enjoy the sounds of the African evening around a warming fire whilst enjoying your meal.
Plunge pool & massage spa
On those hot stuffy afternoons, jump into our pool and kick back with a drink and enjoy a view like no other of the Mara river. Take some time out and get a soothing massage at our bush spa overlooking the plains of the Mara.
Hot air balloon safari
The masai mara game reserve is the ultimate ballooning destination. With stunning landscapes and abundant game make for a spectacular view from above. On the day of your balloon flight, you take off just before sunrise and are airborne for about an hour, drifting along one of the rivers you are bound to see a Pandoras box of game, a photographic galore, upon landing a champagne breakfast awaits you.

Set on the banks of Mara river within the park close to the main wildebeest crossings, the rolling plains with abundant game, between the Musiara swamps, Rhino ridge and the Serena wildebeest crossing the camp has 10 luxury tents all en-suite. We have a dedicated team of Maasai Guides born and bred in the Maasai Mara, with a wealth of knowledge on wild animal behaviours coupled with their natural ability to spot game miles away and a rich knowledge on the flora and fauna. We will ensure you get that special shot and have memories that will never fade.
